Ociswap, one of the pioneering projects under the #RunsOnRadix program, has successfully secured the Babylon booster grant. 

What is Ociswap?

Ociswap is a decentralized exchange with a user-centric design in mind, built on the Radix network. With a focus on providing liquidity options and innovative, user-friendly features, Ociswap is on a mission to become the ‘NEW Front Page of Radix.’ This grant will undoubtedly accelerate their journey in reshaping how users interact with DeFi, making the Radix ecosystem a more vibrant and accessible space for everyone.

Its core offering, concentrated liquidity, enhances capital efficiency by allowing liquidity providers (LPs) to allocate capital within a specified price range and will enable users to facilitate larger trades while minimizing slippage. 

Their upcoming SPLASH 2.0 program addresses the unsustainability of traditional liquidity mining methods, promoting long-term liquidity provision. 

Additionally, dynamic fee settings and the upcoming introduction of limit orders offer more flexibility to users. The platform also pioneers ‘hooks‘ to enable a free market of ideas through customizable logic. An auto-compounding mechanism to maximize earnings boasts rapid innovation due to the Radix Engine’s underlying technology.

Since the last RunsOnRadix feature, the Ociswap team has been steadfastly building and fortifying their presence within the Radix ecosystem by keeping their community informed and updated as they progressed through their roadmap.

Ociswap was among the pioneering projects to launch on the Babylon network. Since its launch, the project has played a pivotal role in catapulting the Radix network into the top 100 by Total Value Locked (TVL) on DeFi Llama, boasting over $2 million in TVL.

The Oci development team acted swiftly to integrate wrapped tokens through Instabridge, extending their support to tokens such as xUSDC, xUSDT, xETH, and xwBTC. Just days after the launch of Instabridge, they also introduced xUSDC and USDT pools.

Their dedication extends to relentless advocacy for Radix DLT and Ociswap, as evidenced by their active participation in events like the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona. Additionally, they’ve been engaging in interviews with SinCity Crypto and TeachMeDeFi, while also having a prominent presence in the Twitter Space community, solidifying both their own and Ociswap’s position as stalwart champions of the Radix Ecosystem. The Ociswap development team has also been supporting the Radix developer community, with Co-Founder Florian Pieper releasing Scrypto-Math on Github, winning the “Impress the CTO – Award” as part of the Scrypto Developer Program.

So, what’s on the horizon?

Looking ahead, Ociswap is committed to further establishing itself in the wider crypto industry. Their primary objectives include continued user onboarding, boosting trading volume, and TVL. Their roadmap underscores an ongoing commitment to enhancing the user experience, introducing new trading pairs, and incorporating advanced trading features, empowering users to make the most of DeFi on Radix.

Additionally, the platform places a strong emphasis on addressing liquidity imbalances and concentration, with immediate tech-focused objectives aimed at optimizing these existing features and subjecting them to their initial operational cycles.

Furthermore, Ociswap is committed to fostering community-driven development by planning to introduce hooks and actively seeking community feedback for shaping future feature enhancements. This unwavering dedication to user engagement and community collaboration is woven into their roadmap, with the overarching goal of delivering a more responsive and feature-rich experience for all users.
