Event Highlights
The event attracted a diverse audience, with a strong focus on institutions. Major players in the financial sector such as Mastercard, Banco Santander, ING Bank, Societe Generale, and BNP Paribas were in attendance. Meanwhile, the crypto landscape was well-represented by speakers like the CEO of Bitpanda, the co-founders of 1inch and Polygon, and many more influential figures. The Radix Team & Community
As with previous Radix Community Council events, this one received immense support from our legendary community members. Radix enthusiasts, including key members from the Spanish community, project owners, and developers, flew in from all corners of the globe to represent Radix. A massive thank you goes out to everyone who helped manage the booth and contributed to the success of the Hackathon!
This year, we were also thrilled to be joined by two special guests: Eduard Goean and Ionut Corduneanu from the Therme Group, our partners in the Carbon Tokenomics Model. Therme Group is a worldwide pioneer of inclusive urban wellbeing and they build and operate large scale well-being resorts all over the world in excess of one million visitors per year!

Hackathon
The EBC10 Hackathon was a massive success, featuring 100 hackers. The participants ranged from newcomers to experienced developers, with many having a background in Solidity, while others had some familiarity with Radix’s native language, Scrypto.
One of the winning hackers shared their experience with Scrypto:
“At first, it was a bit overwhelming coming from Solidity because everything is different—even basic things like tokens—but once I wrapped my head around it, I realized how much more sense it made. I loved it!”
